The FemiCore Formula: How Two Blends Fit in One Capsule

Quick answer

The FemiCore formula is two proprietary blends in a gelatin capsule: 350 mg of herbs and 50 mg of five Lactobacillus strains, 400 mg in all. The lines run heaviest first, but only the totals are printed. The sales page says it "supports a strong bladder"; no trial of the formula itself backs that wording.

Build

What is the FemiCore formula?

The FemiCore formula is a pairing of herbs and bacteria in one gelatin capsule. The herbal blend weighs 350 mg and the probiotic blend weighs 50 mg, so the listed active material comes to 400 mg.

The sales page opens with the headline "The Natural Breakthrough Formula That Supports a Strong Bladder" and says the capsules are "designed to support bladder health by targeting the microbiome imbalance". Those are the seller's words, and no study is named behind them.

Notice the verbs. "Supports" and "targeting" describe an aim, not a result. A formula can be designed to do something and still not do it, which is why a design claim needs a study before it counts as evidence.

What the label itself says is narrower. It lists names, two totals and one dose.

Arithmetic

How much of each ingredient is in the FemiCore formula?

Nobody outside the company knows, because the label prints no single amounts. What anyone can compute is a ceiling for each line.

The rule comes from the labeling regulation: in a proprietary blend the ingredients are listed in descending order by weight (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). Line 1 of the herbal blend is at most 350 mg, line 2 at most 175 mg, line 3 at most 116.7 mg and line 4 at most 87.5 mg. The strains follow the same rule inside 50 mg: at most 50, 25, 16.7, 12.5 and 10 mg.

Think of it like a bowl of mixed nuts listed heaviest first. The first nut could be nearly the whole bowl, or just a bit more than the second. The list alone cannot tell you which.

A ceiling is only an upper bound. If Mimosa pudica were 340 mg, the three lines below it would share 10 mg between them. The order allows both stories.

Cranberry as a worked example

At most 175 mg, standardized to 30%, gives at most about 52 mg of proanthocyanidin by the maker's own method. Methods differ, so that figure cannot be set beside a study dose.

The bacteria

What are the five strains in the FemiCore formula?

They are five named Lactobacillus strains: crispatus LCr86, acidophilus LA88, plantarum N13, gasseri LG08 and casei LC16. Each code names one lineage, and effects are strain-specific (NCCIH, Probiotics).

The strain list reads like a vaginal-community panel, since L. crispatus and L. gasseri are two of the four Lactobacillus-dominated community types described in research on healthy women (Ravel et al. 2011, vaginal microbiome). That observation concerns the vagina, not the bladder, and not capsules taken by mouth.

Strain codeLCr86

A probiotic's effect belongs to the strain, the code after the species name, not to the species in general (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics). Two strains of one species can behave differently, so research on "L. crispatus" in general does not transfer to LCr86.

The five strains in the 50 mg FemiCore probiotic blend, in label order. Weights are label-order ceilings; no CFU count is printed, so the number of live cells is unknown.

Searched October 2026. LCr86 has one completed placebo trial (80 women, 10 billion CFU a day by mouth, 8 weeks, vaginal Nugent score) with no results posted (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06830122, LCr86). "Lactobacillus" species were renamed in 2020 (for example L. casei is now Lacticaseibacillus casei); labels often keep the old names.

Gaps

What does the FemiCore formula leave unproven?

The formula leaves unproven nearly everything the front label implies. No trial of the finished capsule has been published, and no lab report is posted.

Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, usually randomized controlled testing in people (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). A list of respected-sounding ingredients is not that.

Another gap is the probiotic dose. The NIH notes that label weight includes dead cells and that a CFU count at end of shelf life is the useful number (NIH ODS, Probiotics). FemiCore prints neither.

The fair strengths are also real: a full name list, strain codes, one capsule a day and no stimulant listed. The record for cranberry in repeat infections is the best of the nine lines (Cochrane 2023, cranberries and UTI).

Decide

Should you take the FemiCore formula?

That depends on your health and your questions, and a clinician is the right judge. If you leak urine or wake often to pass it, first-line care is training and a bladder diary, not a capsule (NICE NG123, incontinence in women).

If you still want to try it, the sales page shows $79 a bottle on two, $69 on three and $49 on six, with a 60-day guarantee badge. Read the how it works guide first.

FAQ

FemiCore formula questions, answered

Is the FemiCore formula patented?

No patent is named on the label or in the sales text we read. The maker and the factory are also unnamed, so there is nothing to check a claim against.

Does FemiCore use a proprietary blend?

Yes. Both the herbal blend and the probiotic blend are proprietary. Each shows a total weight and a list in descending order, but no single amounts.

Has the FemiCore formula changed?

We cannot tell. A small V1 up the left edge of the label marks a label version, so a later version would presumably show a different mark.
