FemiCore Ingredients: The Nine Lines in Each Capsule
FemiCore contains nine ingredients in two blends: four herbs and five Lactobacillus strains.
The 350 mg herbal blend holds Mimosa pudica seed, cranberry (30% PAC), bearberry leaf and berberine. The 50 mg probiotic blend holds the five strains. By label order, cranberry is at most 175 mg.

The list
What are the FemiCore ingredients?
The FemiCore ingredients are four herbs and five bacterial strains, nine lines in all. The herbs share 350 mg. The strains share 50 mg.
Read the panel like a specimen card: blend name, total weight, then the lines below. Filter by blend to see one at a time.

Blend order
Why does the order of FemiCore ingredients matter?
Order matters because it is the only weight clue on the label. A proprietary blend must list its lines from heaviest to lightest and print just the total (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling).
So line 1 can be anything up to the full blend. Line 2 can be at most half, since it cannot outweigh line 1. Line 3 of 4 in 350 mg: at most a third, about 117 mg. Each bar below is that ceiling.
A ceiling is the most a line could weigh, not what it does weigh. A line near the bottom could be a pinch.
Research
What does research say about each FemiCore ingredient?
Research is uneven across the nine lines. Cranberry has dozens of trials for repeat urinary infections (Cochrane 2023, cranberries and UTI). Bearberry has traditional-use guidance only (EMA, Uvae ursi folium (bearberry leaf)). Mimosa pudica seed has no human trial we could find.
Strain effects do not carry from one strain to another (NCCIH, Probiotics). Only LCr86 has a registered trial, and it scored the vagina, not the bladder (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06830122, LCr86).
| Label line | Place | Per capsule | Amount used in research | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mimosa pudica Seed Extract | Herbal 1/4 | at most 350 mg | No human dose found in public health sources (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely) | No human trial found; no bladder trial |
| Cranberry Extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon)(berry)(std. to 30% proanthocyanidin) | Herbal 2/4 | at most 175 mg | Trials tested many cranberry products and doses (50 trials, Cochrane 2023) (Cochrane 2023, cranberries and UTI) (NCCIH, Cranberry) | Moderate: fewer repeat UTIs in some groups; no bladder-control data |
| Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)(leaf) | Herbal 3/4 | at most 116.7 mg | EU traditional use: adult women, no longer than one week (EMA, Uvae ursi folium (bearberry leaf)) (NIH LiverTox, Uva Ursi) | Traditional use only; no clinical studies of bearberry leaf alone |
| Granular Berberine Hydrochloride Extract 8% (bark/root) | Herbal 4/4 | at most 87.5 mg | No urinary or bladder dose has been studied (NIH LiverTox, Berberine) | No bladder or urinary trial found |
| Lactobacillus crispatus LCr86 | Strain 1/5 | at most 50 mg | One registered trial gave 10 billion CFU a day orally (vaginal outcome) (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06830122, LCr86) (Ravel et al. 2011, vaginal microbiome) (NCCIH, Probiotics) | Strain trial completed; no results posted |
| Lactobacillus acidophilus LA88 | Strain 2/5 | at most 25 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus plantarum N13 | Strain 3/5 | at most 16.7 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus gasseri LG08 | Strain 4/5 | at most 12.5 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus casei LC16 | Strain 5/5 | at most 10 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |

What are the other ingredients in FemiCore, and is it vegetarian?
The other ingredients are gelatin, brown rice flour, magnesium stearate, olive oil and silicon dioxide. They hold the powder and help it run through the filling machine.
The gelatin shell is made from animals, so FemiCore is not vegetarian, whatever the sales badge shows. No allergen statement is printed. With a severe allergy, read the FemiCore supplement facts page with a pharmacist first.
| Printed as | Usual job | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Gelatin (capsule) | The shell | Animal-derived, so not vegetarian or vegan |
| Brown Rice Flour | Filler that brings the fill to size | The only grain listed |
| Magnesium Stearate | Keeps powder from sticking to machines | Tiny amounts in most capsules |
| Olive Oil | Carrier or lubricant | Amount not printed |
| Silicon Dioxide | Anti-caking agent | Keeps powder free-flowing |
Six vs nine
Why does the sales graphic show six FemiCore ingredients?
The sales graphic shows six because it groups and drops lines; the label prints nine. The seller's brief lists six ingredients; the label lists nine (four herbal lines and five strains). The label wins.

One caution
Which FemiCore ingredient needs the most care?
Bearberry leaf needs the most care. EU guidance limits it to one week and rules it out for women with kidney disorders (EMA, Uvae ursi folium (bearberry leaf)). A daily capsule runs far longer, so ask your doctor first.
Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed. More on FemiCore side effects and how the two blends are meant to work.
FAQ
FemiCore ingredients: questions
What order are the FemiCore ingredients listed in?
Heaviest first within each blend. The herbal blend runs Mimosa pudica seed, cranberry, bearberry, berberine. The probiotic blend runs crispatus, acidophilus, plantarum, gasseri, casei. That order is a legal rule for blends (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling), and it is the only clue to relative weight.
Why are the FemiCore amounts hidden?
They are not printed because the formula uses proprietary blends, which only require a total weight (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). So you see 350 mg and 50 mg, not nine amounts. Label order still gives ceilings: cranberry at most 175 mg, berberine at most 87.5 mg.
What fillers are in FemiCore?
Brown rice flour, magnesium stearate, olive oil and silicon dioxide, plus the gelatin shell. They help fill and close each capsule. None is an active ingredient, and none has its amount printed on the label.
Is the FemiCore capsule gelatin or vegetarian?
Gelatin. The label lists "Gelatin (capsule)" under other ingredients, and gelatin comes from animals. So FemiCore is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, though a sales-page badge says vegetarian.
Why do the brief and the label list different FemiCore ingredients?
The seller's brief names six; the label names nine, four herbs and five strains. Marketing lists often fold strains together. On this site the printed label is always the source, so all nine are covered.
Does FemiCore contain common allergens?
No allergen statement is printed, and no milk, soy, egg or wheat line appears in the ingredient list. The label does not say what the cultures were grown on. With a severe allergy, check with a pharmacist before starting.
