The FemiCore Label Explained, Panel by Panel
The FemiCore label has a front panel with three claims, a Supplement Facts box with a 350 mg herbal blend and a 50 mg probiotic blend, and a side panel with directions and cautions. It prints nine ingredient names but no single amounts, no CFU count and no manufacturer. The dagger on each claim points to the FDA statement.

Front panel
What does the front of the FemiCore label say?
The front of the FemiCore label shows a hexagon panel reading FEMI CORE, the line "Clinically Researched Ingredients" and three claims. They read "Healthy Urinary System", "Bladder Control Support" and "Microbiome Balance". It also says "Dietary Supplement" and "30 Capsules".
Every claim ends in a dagger. The dagger leads to the FDA statement on the side panel: the statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims).
These are structure and function lines. They describe a role in the body. They are not results, and no trial of the capsules is named.
The phrase about researched ingredients is also worth a closer look. It says the ingredients were researched, not that the finished capsule was tested.
Supplement Facts
How do you read the FemiCore Supplement Facts box?
Start with the serving: one capsule, 30 servings in the bottle. Then read two blend lines, Herbal Blend 350 mg and Probiotic Blend 50 mg. Both show "DV not established".
The ingredients inside a blend are written heaviest first, and only the total is printed (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). That makes the order informative. Cranberry, second of four, can weigh at most 175 mg. Berberine extract, last, can weigh at most 87.5 mg.
The table below turns the order into ceilings for all nine lines. Ceilings are not amounts.
| Label line | Place | Per capsule | Amount used in research | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mimosa pudica Seed Extract | Herbal 1/4 | at most 350 mg | No human dose found in public health sources (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely) | No human trial found; no bladder trial |
| Cranberry Extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon)(berry)(std. to 30% proanthocyanidin) | Herbal 2/4 | at most 175 mg | Trials tested many cranberry products and doses (50 trials, Cochrane 2023) (Cochrane 2023, cranberries and UTI) (NCCIH, Cranberry) | Moderate: fewer repeat UTIs in some groups; no bladder-control data |
| Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)(leaf) | Herbal 3/4 | at most 116.7 mg | EU traditional use: adult women, no longer than one week (EMA, Uvae ursi folium (bearberry leaf)) (NIH LiverTox, Uva Ursi) | Traditional use only; no clinical studies of bearberry leaf alone |
| Granular Berberine Hydrochloride Extract 8% (bark/root) | Herbal 4/4 | at most 87.5 mg | No urinary or bladder dose has been studied (NIH LiverTox, Berberine) | No bladder or urinary trial found |
| Lactobacillus crispatus LCr86 | Strain 1/5 | at most 50 mg | One registered trial gave 10 billion CFU a day orally (vaginal outcome) (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT06830122, LCr86) (Ravel et al. 2011, vaginal microbiome) (NCCIH, Probiotics) | Strain trial completed; no results posted |
| Lactobacillus acidophilus LA88 | Strain 2/5 | at most 25 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus plantarum N13 | Strain 3/5 | at most 16.7 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus gasseri LG08 | Strain 4/5 | at most 12.5 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
| Lactobacillus casei LC16 | Strain 5/5 | at most 10 mg | No published trial found for this strain code (NCCIH, Probiotics) (NIH ODS, Probiotics) | Strain-specific evidence not found |
Side panel
What do the directions and cautions on the label say?
The side panel gives the directions, the caution and the storage rules. Adults take one capsule daily with 6-8 oz of water or as directed by a healthcare professional.
The caution says not to exceed the dose. The label also asks pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a known medical condition to consult a physician. Keep the bottle out of children's reach, store it cool and dry, and do not use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
The bottle also states that the product is a dietary supplement. That wording matters because supplements are not drugs, and the rules for proving a benefit are lighter than for medicines (FDA, Information for Consumers on Supplements).
No time of day and no food rule appear, which is why we describe those as open choices, not label facts.

What do the marks and the address on the FemiCore label prove?
They prove less than they seem to. The label carries a GMP roundel, "Made in the USA using foreign and U.S. ingredients" and a line saying it was made in an FDA-registered facility.
FDA registration is a listing. The agency does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold (FDA, Information for Consumers on Supplements). The GMP roundel names no certifier. A small V1 on the left edge marks a label version, not a lot number.
| Mark | What it shows | What it does not show |
|---|---|---|
| GMP roundel | A claim of good practice | Who audited it |
| Made in the USA | Some US work | Where the herbs and strains came from |
| FDA-registered facility | The site is listed | Approval of the product |
| Distributor address | Tallmadge, Ohio | The factory |
Gaps
What is missing from the FemiCore label?
Five things are missing: single amounts, a CFU count, the manufacturer, a lab report and any study of the capsule. Each gap has a cost.
The NIH points out that label weight for probiotics includes dead cells and advises looking for a CFU count at the end of shelf life (NIH ODS, Probiotics). Without one, 50 mg of five strains says little about how many live cells reach you.
Can you see every ingredient name? Yes, nine. Can you see every amount? No. Can you see who filled the capsules? No.
The strengths are real too. All nine lines are named, strain codes are printed and the dose is one capsule a day. Our supplement facts page adds the full transcript.

FAQ
FemiCore label questions, answered
Does the FemiCore label list the manufacturer?
No. It names a distributor, FemiCore of Tallmadge, Ohio, and an FDA-registered facility, but not the company that fills the capsules. Registration is a listing, not an approval.
What does the dagger on the FemiCore label mean?
It points to the statement that the claims have not been evaluated by the FDA and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Is the V1 on the label a lot number?
No. It runs up the left edge and reads as a label version. A batch or lot code would appear on the bottle itself, and lab proof would be a separate document.
